David Bonham is well known in the Oklahoma area for his intricate guitar solos and hard driving rhythm work. Born and raised in Oklahoma City he began playing Guitar at 14, raised in the musical Bonham Family, he was inspired to play by his Father and Uncles, who performed as the Bonham Brothers and with Bill Grant and Delia Bell as well. After playing for only nine months he joined the young Bluegrass band "The BlueGrass ReVue" in 1971 playing with Bobby Clark, Billy and Mike Perry and Jimmy Gyles, for the next three years they toured extensively around the country playing festivals and opening for such acts as Lester Flatt and the Nashville Grass, Ralph Stanley and the Clinch Mnt Boys, Bill Monroe & the Bluegrass Boy's, the Country Gentlemen and others. After recording one album, winning the Hugo Bluegrass Festival Band contest and the Winfield National band contest he left the band to pursue other interests. For the past ten years he has performed with his Cousin Virgil Bonham and his group the Bonham ReVue, He formed Brigade with his Sister Tina in 2002. He lives with his Wife Trina in the Oklahoma City area.
