Virgil Bonham was born in Atoka, Oklahoma, he began playing bass as a child and then mastered Guitar and Mandolin as he grew older. He began playing with his Father, Brother and Uncles in Bill Grant & Delia Bell"s Band as a youngster, then moved to the Signal Mountain band with his Brother Glen. He then formed a second generation Bonham Brothers Band with his brother Glen, carrying on the family tradition of family music. He later formed his group  "The Bonham ReVue"  featuring his children, he also plays Country Music with his acclaimed Country Band "City Moon". Virgil lives with his wife Rhonda in Kingfisher Ok. and appears with Brigade as often as his busy schedule will allow.
